So, I did it! Pulled the trigger and made the print copy of A Snake in the Grass available for purchase. ('cause really, what fun is a release day if you don't HAVE the book?) So go forth and order thine copies! Or something.
Places to buy my print book:
Createspace
Amazon
Places to preorder my ebook:
Barnes & Noble
iTunes
Kobo
Still to come:
Kindle
The ebooks are still going to be available come July 8th, as planned, 'cause instant delivery and all that.
I've had folks ask me which format/vendor I prefer they buy from. Guys, I don't care. Buy from wherever you feel comfiest. I've also had folks ask me about shipping charges on Createspace. I honestly don't know, I've never ordered from there. But since Createspace is essentially Amazon, I can't imagine that they'd be too terribly different.
If anyone else has any other questions, be sure to let me know. I may not know the answer, but I can make things up like a champ! Seriously, this is all new to me too, so we'll stumble through it together.
I preordered from Createspace yesterday and they shipped it today. Nice. Shipping $3.59, tax $1.14. Standard.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited!
ReplyDeleteKindle, kindle, kindle!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping to pick this up at my local book store (because I didn't want to wait for it to ship :D ) but the bookstore says they can't find the title. Is this going to be in retail stores or will I need to order it online?
ReplyDeleteFor a print copy, you'll have to order it from Amazon or Createspace. The price of self-publishing, I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the print copy. I have it already! I just still am not on board with Kindle and other eformats so I appreciate the paper.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I've been waiting for this :)
ReplyDeletePerhaps you should mention it's available on Smashwords? I bought it there since I prefer regular epub to the kobo kepub format.
